We are Mick & Kesha Barnett of Fire on the Mountain Candle Co.

We live and operate in North Georgia, nestled in the foothills of the the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

We are both USAF Veterans who have honorably served and deployed in defense of the rights and freedoms for our nation and citizens. We have spent a great deal of time traveling the world either courtesy of the military or at our own leisure, spending the majority of our time in the southeastern states such as Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, & North Carolina, as well as a considerable amount of time overseas in Europe.

After Mick retired at 21 years of service, we decided to move to an area we never wanted to leave. One visit to the Blue Ridge mountains was all it took for us to fall in love with the quiet, rural, and wholesome area. This is where we have chosen to raise our children and become part of the community. This is where we call home.

After getting settled into our new Appalachian home, we decided to jump into the local food industry and opened Nomad Market of Morganton, GA, a quaint little breakfast and lunch diner near Lake Blue Ridge, which operated very successfully for nearly 5 years.

Being satisfied with our efforts and outcome at Nomad, we decided to grow even further and create a business that could reach more people across the US and beyond, as well as something that maybe one day one of our 5 children could take over for themselves.

So we created Fire on the Mountain Candle Co. where we hand pour every single candle and wax melt, personally. We thank you for your support & patronage and hope that you enjoy our products as much as we enjoy making them for you.
